this looks female ventrally but has not been molt sexed. No guarantee on the sex. 

Described in 1903 by Reginald Innes Pocock, this is the smallest of the Avicularia genus. Reaching 4 inches as adults, they are the only Avicularia that keeps the abdominal pattern into adulthood. These striking arboreal spiders are native to Venezuela and Brazil.
