Described in 2008 by German arachnologist Peter Jäger. This unmistakable true spider is know for its bizarre looks and being named after the famous singer/song writer David Bowie. These spiders are fairly laid back for a huntsman spider. However don’t get caught off guard if it does decide to take off. They can move fast when they want to. Full grown size is about 3 inches on these. An incredible species to own for serious keepers or anyone new to huntsman.
