This is a rare dwarf species that is sometimes overlooked when people are considered a smaller spider. Adults only reach about 1.5 inches when full grown. This spider has a large range but it was described based on samples collected in Thailand. Steve Nunn, Rick West and 😘Volker Von Wirth described this species in 2016. Females are a shiny black that can fad to a gold color. When they males mature they get really cool white legs. This species name is a bit of a mouthful, however it was named after Ms. Monique Verdez who helped collect the material from the description.
