Amazonius burgessi

This spider has had some complicated name changes over the years and likely will change again. Fast arboreal spider from Ecuador, Colombia and Venezuela.  Described by Martin Hüsser in 2018 as Pseudoclamoris burgessi. Grows to 5”-6”. 

Update, as predicted in November of 2025 a new paper from a team of authors have made some changes to the Psalmopoeinae family. This is the same spider that was originally described as Tapinauchenius subcaeruleus and also found to be synonymous with Pseudoclamoris burgessi. However the fairly new genus Amazonius still is valid,
