Slow growing Mexican species that is long lived. Beautiful grey to black spider with pinkish undertones. These docile terrestrial spiders are a great beginner species if you are looking for a docile long lived pet spider. In 2005 these spiders were officially described as Aphonopelma. However in 2022 Ray Gabriel reestablished the genus Dugesiella where eventually most of the U.S. and Mexican Aphonopelma will be moved too.
