This dwarf species is one of the smallest species from the USA with adults being not much more then 1 inch.  For a small spider that can sometimes make up for it with their temper, which can be quite cute. These spiders can be found in southern Arizona where they live in short burrows that usually have a crescent shape of dirt around the top of it. Not kept in captivity often. These spiders were described in 1993 by Thomas R. Prentice.
