Aka the Mexican flame knee tarantula! This beautiful species can be found in Guerrero and Michoacán in Mexico. Another long lived terrestrial species that can reach 5”-6” as adults. Described in 1992 by German taxonomist Günter Schmidt. This can be one of the harder Brachypelma species to find and times and is a must have for anyone looking for a stunning new world tarantula.
