First described by German arachnologist Jan-Peter Rudloff in 1994. This small terrestrial spider gets about 4 inches as adults. Their beautiful purple fangs are remarkable and it will always be one of my favorite species. I was the first person to breed these in the U.S. back in early 2020. I was so excited to see these in the hobby after staring at the picture of one on Rick West’s site for years. Must have for people who are into smaller species.
