Not only a new species, but a new genus to the U.S.  I’m exited to raise these. These spiders start off with white legs that fade to a brownish color as adults. But the adults appear super shaggy, almost giving a T. albopilosus a run for their money. Described by Reginald Innes Pocock in 1903, these Ecuadorean spiders get about 5 inches as adults.
