A new undescibed species from Azua, a city in the Dominican Republic. Cyrtopholis are sometimes considered “dwarf” tarantulas but many of them can reach up to 5 inches. It’s unclear exactly how big this particular species gets. My guess would be around 3 inches. Pretty black and beige colored spider with a black “emilia” triangle on the carapace. Cool spiders and not commonly kept.
