Dolichothele diamantinensis (arriving mid January)

Described in 2009 by Rogério Bertani, Thiago dos Santos & Alexandre Ferreira Righi as Oligoxystre diamantinensis. Later in 2015 they were transferred to the Dolichothele genus. This colorful spiders resembles the coloration of a Green Bottle Blue Tarantula, but only gets about 4 inches. These tarantulas like to web up their enclosure and are great species for someone looking for something colorful and active.
