Ephebopus rufescens

This rare Ephebopus species is known for its reddish brown coloration. Like all Ephebopus, these spiders have the ability to flick urticating hairs from their palps. Adults of this species like to burrow, so give them plenty of dirt. Described in 2000 by Rick West and Samuel Marshall. Native to French Guiana & Brazil.
