First described from the Amazonian region of Brazil by Svlvia Lucas & Rogério Bertani in 1992. These burrowing spiders can be quite feisty and will let you know when they are angry. Beautiful metallic green abdomen on a shiny copper spider makes then a real eye catcher. Adults reach about 5 inches.
