Incredible spider from Brazil that has only been available 2 or 3 times in the U.S.A.  This spider was described in 1923 by Dr. Mello Leitão, but has had a complicated history since.  However it was most recently known in the hobby as Proshapalopus amazonicus. These beautiful spiders are probably the prettiest in the genus in my opinion and reach 5 inches as adults. Very limited supply on these, and super rare in the USA.
