Grammostola actaeon

These are great pet spiders like most of the spiders from the genus Grammostola. Found in Brazil and Uruguay, these gentle spider have a similar look to Grammostola iheringi. However Grammostola actaeon don’t get quit as large and the red abdomen tends to fade to a blackish red color as adults. Describe in 1903 by British Zoologist Reginald Innes Pocock.
