This is one of the largest Harpactira with females reaching about 6 inches. Beautiful shiny silver coloration makes this one a real eye popper. Native to Namibia and South Africa, they were described back in 1902 by South African arachnologist William Frederick Purcell. These spiders can be hard to find and aren’t always available. Hopefully we’ll see more people breed them in the future.
