size 2” - 3” females (many of these females look gravid and may lay a fertile eggsac. However I can not promise that they will lay eggs either.)

Described in 2008 by German arachnologist Peter Jäger. This unmistakable true spider is know for its bizarre looks and being named after the famous singer/song writer David Bowie. These spiders are fairly laid back for a huntsman spider. However don’t get caught off guard if it does decide to take off. They can move fast when they want to. Full grown size is about 3 inches on these. An incredible species to own for serious keepers or anyone new to huntsman. These spiders can range from a beige color to a bright orange color.
