Heterothele sp. villosela

size 1/2”

This small Tanzanian species reaches about 3 inches as adults and makes a fun easy to keep addition to any collection.  I’m 2020 this species was considered nomen dubium, so it’s unclear exactly what this spider that we have in the hobby actually is.  This species is sometimes considered communal, however with my experience trying to keep them together did result in some cannibalism. Neat heavy webbing “dwarf” tarantula.
