 Awesome arboreal tarantula that’s all black with a nice overall deep purple hue. Reaching 5 inches as adults, these tree hugging spiders can be lighting fast. Found on Sangihe island in Indonesia (Sulawesi). Described in 1892 by Eugène Louis Simon.
