Worlds heaviest roach. Awesome bulldozing roaches from the down under. You won’t understand how impressive these long lived roaches are until you hold an adult in your hand. These roaches are super easy to raise, and in my experience grow quicker then most online reports say. Heat and oak leaves are the secret. Keep the enclosures next to a heat source to keep one end of the cage warm and dry, while the other end should be kept cooler with a damp corner. Then fill the enclosure with dried oak leaves, replenish as they disappear. They will also feed on some fruits and veggies. However the main staple of their died is the dried oak. They will probably also feed on some rotting wood, however I really provide mine with that. Hard to find roaches can produce a hissing sound when they feel threatened. Found mostly in Queensland Australia, these incredible roaches were described in 1895 by Swiss entomologist Henri Louis Frédéric de Saussure.
