Melopoeus albostriatus is a unique fossorial species from Myanmar, Thailand & Cambodia. With such a large natural range, this species comes in a variety of colors and localities. Reaching 5 inches as adults, like most Melopoeus these spiders can have a bit of an attitude when disturbed. This species was described in 1886 by French archaeologists Eugène Louis Simon.
