This is one of the largest Asian arboreal species in the hobby with adults reaching 9 inches and a massive body. Pretty impressive to watch such a large but agile beast navigate its surroundings. Beautiful tiger pattern on their abdomen, these spiders are quite the sight. However they are fast and mean business when disturbed. The name of this spider is a bit complicated as most people are still referring to them as Cyriopagopus. However this a an arboreal spider that has little to do with what is currently known as Cyriopagopus (the old Haplopelma) in the hobby.
