These fast growing large terrestrial spiders are an undescibed species known from southwestern Ecuador. These spiders have been bred in captivity for decades but are still unknown to science. Females are a dark velevet brown color while the males turn a brilliant purple color upon maturity. If you are considering a Pamphobeteus for the first time, you won’t be disappointed.
