The worlds most famous and best pet scorpion. These gentle giant scorpions are known for their calm behavior and tolerance of gentle handling. Their mild venom is rarley used while they tend to use their large claws to subdue their prey. These once very common scorpions have been super hard to find in the last ten years or so. However a recent import out of Africa has made them temporarily available again. Get them while they last at a killer price, as they will most certainly disappear from the hobby once again when these sell out. Described by German entomologist Carl Ludwig Koch in 1842
