This is a species that is not commonly worked with and only pops up in the hobby sporadically. Reaching 4 inches or only slightly larger. These are a slow growing but long lived terrestrial spider from Argentina & Uruguay. This spider was described in 1942 by two  Argentinian woman arachnologist Rita Delia Schiapelli and Berta Sofía Gerschman.
