When most people think of Mexican tarantulas the first that come to mind are the heavy bodied desert dwellers of the genus Brachypelma. However in 2014 Jorge Mendoza described this exciting and drop dead gorgeous arboreal spider from Veracruz Mexico. In fact this is the only known arboreal tarantula from Mexico. Such beautiful coloration with the two tones of read and black. These never last long when I have them. One of my favorite arboreal tarantulas !
