Native to Malaysia and Singapore this small Flower Mantis is known for the cream colored band across the wings when they mature.  This is an active diurnal species that hunts during the day. Like all mantises, they should be kept in a tall enclosure with vertical branches and bark that they can hang from when they molt. This species was described in 1931 by entomologist Max Beier.
