The “curly hair tarantula” is one of the most popular pet spiders due to its docile temperament, availablity and affordable. This spider can get up to 6 inches and it’s know for its hairs that turn in a upward direction giving them a super fluffy appearance.  In 1980 this spider was described by Carlos E. Valerio as Brachypelma albopilosa. This beautiful terrestrial species can be found in Costa Rica, Nicaragua and Honduras.
