 This small tarantula only gets a little over 2 inches as adults. They spiders will web up their enclosures quite a bit and build thier own burrows. Described in 1923 by Cândido Firmino de Mello Leitão. This spider has a long history of name changes and misidentifications. From Campina Grande, Paraíba, Brazil, these uncommon spiders will be a rarity in any collection.
